La Fuente Ministries es un ministerio dispuesto a habitar y celebrar la intersección entre la comunidad Latina y la iglesia Latina; entre la primera y segunda generación; entre las realidades del concepto de raza y cultura; entre el evangelismo cristiano y la justicia de Dios; y entre el español y el inglés. Dios ha llamado y ha establecido a La Fuente Ministries como un espacio alternativo a la ya existente variedad de tipos y formas de hacer iglesia en el contexto de Estados Unidos para que estas intersecciones no sean rechazadas, borradas, asimiladas o sean puestas en competencia.
La Fuente Ministries is a ministry that is willing to dwell and celebrate the intersection between the Latina community and the Latina church; between first generation and second generation; between the realities of race and culture; between Christian evangelism and God’s justice; and between Spanish and English. God has called and established La Fuente Ministries as an alternative space for the already existing variety of ways of doing church in the United States so that those in these intersections not be rejected, erased, assimilated or be put to competition.

Este fin de semana nuestra iglesia participó en la Conferencia de Migración organizada por AETH. Aprendimos que la identidad migrante es compleja, marcada por trauma y esperanza, y está profundamente arraigada en la historia bíblica del pueblo de Dios. La migración no es una tragedia, es un regalo de la gracia. La frontera no es un límite sino un lugar de encuentro y transformación.

This weekend our church joined the Migrant Conference organized by AETH. We learned that immigrant identity is complex, marked by both trauma and hope, and deeply rooted in the biblical story of God’s people. Migration is not a tragedy, it is a gift of grace. The border is not a limit but a place of encounter and transformation.

Remember the movement, the critical mind, and the construction of the significance within the initiatives of God in the middle of everything. Like Marcos explained, La Fuente is in the middle of fire and ice.
