Women's Ministries' Leadership Training 2014 - Thursday, September 4
6:00 - 9:00 pm, Gilmore Hall
All women participating in Women's Ministry leadership roles are invited to attend this 2014 Kick-Off and Training event. The evening will include dinner, worship, speaker Anita Henck, and breakout discussions. Please RSVP to your ministry coordinator or to Megan Marsh by Thursday, August 28. Celebrate monthly birthdays with a brunch at the home of Scott & Debbie Daniels, 625 W Hillcrest Blvd, Monrovia. All ladies with a September birthday are invited to attend this month. Women in the Word is a Tuesday morning Bible study with over 100 ladies who study the Bible together working through different themes. This fall's topic is The Winning Reach of God's Love and will be led by Rebecca Spence. The study will also include the text The Epic of Eden: A Christian Entry into the Old Testament by Sandra L. Richter. Books as well as homework booklets will be available the first day of class. There is a $20 fee for materials. Scholarships are available.

Girlfriend to Girlfriend is a book study led by Debbie Daniels and a great place to connect with other women. This fall's topic is Soul Keeping: Caring For the Most Important Part of You by John Ortberg. The health of your soul is the difference between deep, satisfied spirituality and a restless, dispassionate faith. Come rediscover your soul and find your way out of the spiritual shallow-lands to true divine depth. Books will be available the first day of class. There is a $20 fee for materials. MOPS (Mothers of PreSchoolers) at PazNaz! MOPS provides moms with a hot meal, relevant teaching, support, companionship, and fun craft projects as their "moppets" (children from birth through kindergarten) enjoy their own crafts and activities in a loving environment. This year's theme is Be You Bravely. The cost for the semester is $100 for moms with children in Moppets, $75 for moms only. Partial scholarships are available.
