Generous Sunday

If you consider PazNaz your church home, please prayerfully consider accepting the 7-30-90+ Generous Challenge.

For those who don’t yet tithe, the challenge is to trust God to enable you to begin tithing in a stepwise fashion. For those who do tithe, the challenge is to not view tithing as a ceiling, but as a foundation upon which to become a “beyond” giver. Please join this challenge by offering up a double tithe on Sunday, November 18.

God’s Word teaches that Christ followers should generously give back to Jesus their time, talents, and treasures. A tithe serves as a monetary benchmark for systematic, proportionate giving. The word “tithe” is a mathematical term that means “a tenth or 1/10.” It means giving 10% of your income back to the Lord (Malachi 3:10).

7 Days

If tithing is new for you, this is the perfect opportunity to prayerfully take you first steps of faith.
 

Step 1

Tithe (give 10% of a week’s income) on Sunday, November 18, on our all church Generous Sunday.

30 Days

After trusting God's direction and provision for 7 days, consider stepping up to the next level.

Step 2

After taking that first step, continue to trust God and tithe your income through the next 30 days following November 18.

90 Days

Now that the cycle of tithing has become more regular, consider stepping up another level.
 

Step 3

Continue your faith journey and trust God to enable you to tithe for three months November-January.

Beyond

For those who do tithe, the challenge is to not view thithing as a ceiling, but as a foundation to become a "beyond" giver.

Last Step

After completing the 90-day challenge, prayerfully make a commitment to a lifetime of giving the tithe.
