Faith Promise Lunch

On Saturday, June 3, at 11:30 am, Nazarene Missions International will host a Faith Promise Lunch in Gilmore Hall. The meeting will focus on Cuba and the Mesoamerica Region. Nazarene missionary Bob Prescott will be the guest presenter. Lunch tickets are $15 per person and will be available for purchase on the patio on Sundays after worship and in the church office during the week. The lunch will be followed by an informational meeting about the Work and Witness trip to Cuba planned for later in 2023. For more information, please contact Roger Schrage at 626.296.2011.

On Sunday, June 4, the English PazNaz congregation will celebrate Nazarene missions with a special Faith Promise service at our normal worship time of 9:30 am. Bob Prescott will be speaking.

Bob Prescott served for 11 years as coordinator of partnerships for the Mesoamerica Region. He continues to connect individuals, churches, and districts in North America with unique needs and mission sites seeking multi-year relationships. Bob pastored two churches in Puerto Rico, and traveled to 67 countries during his 14 years with Nazarene compassionate ministries, guiding crisis response, training national leaders, and helping churches reach out in love to meet local needs.

Faith Promise gifts received will be used to complete our annual commitments to the Nazarene World Evangelism Fund. Any funds exceeding our WEF commitments will be used for PazNaz Global Mission Initiatives such as:

• work and witness projects,
• emergency needs in world areas,
• and to bring Nazarene missionaries to PazNaz to educate us on what God is doing around the world.
