Our ministry at PazNaz Youth revolves around the concept that “Love Wins.” Since that is the case you will see how each event provides opportunities for love to win. This takes time, but I know with confidence the promise of 1 Corinthians 13:8b which says, “Love Never Fails.”

During the coming year you will also begin to see some new identity forming as well. We have named our youth ministry Fusion Student Ministries. The goal behind this message is to get students to live out their relationships with Jesus outside the walls of the Church. In 2 Corinthians 2:12 it says,

“Now this is our boast: Our conscience testifies that we have conducted ourselves in the world, and especially in our relations with you, in the holiness and sincerity that are from God. We have done so not according to worldly wisdom but according to God's grace.”

This is my heart’s cry for students. That they may understand fully the importance of living their daily lives in accordance with God’s love and grace without thinking they are better than anyone else. I think this is the hard part for many of us. We create an “us vs. them” mentality about life and send a blanket message about the Jesus we serve. What we do over the next few years will help students become all God has planned for them.

I can’t wait to get to know your students better this year and see them take steps towards the Jesus that is alive and active in each of their lives. Be praying that we will participate in that activity!
