FAMILY NIGHT @ SIX FLAGS
PazNaz students are headed to Six Flags Magic Mountain! Nazarene students from all over will gather on Friday, September 12, for Christian Family Night sponsored by Point Loma Nazarene University. The cost is $40 for a ticket and transportation, plus money for dinner at the park. Student Ministries will meet at PazNaz at 4:30pm and return by 1:30am. Submit your money to Student Ministries by Wednesday, September 10 to reserve your spot! If you'd like to drive separately, feel free to contact a Student Minstries pastor.
Starting in September and carrying on through November, Crew Nights will be held at various locations on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month, from 6:30-8:00 PM. These events will be opportunities for students to connect with people of the same age and gender, and provide a time to get to know each other better through games, conversation, and snacks!
Parents and guardians are invited to an informational meeting on Sunday, September 14, during the Sunday School hour (9:15-10:30am) in Meguiar Youth Center Room 132. This is your chance to talk with other parents and the youth staff, and receive information about fall events with PazNaz Student Ministries. Coffee and a light breakfast will be provided!
Spend a weekend in the mountains for a retreat from the stresses and worries of school. Take some time to get closer to God and your friends in the midst of the chaos. Weekend, theme, and cost TBD. Check back later for more specific information!
