Student Ministries is hosting a Middle School Parent Meeting on Sunday, June 26. Come for an opportunity to meet the youth staff, find out more about Middle School Ministries, and to learn about the coming MIddle School Worship Service!


College students from PazNaz are heading to Palm Desert July 10 - 12 for fun experiences and quality time together, and recent high school graduates will be the guests of honor! The trip will leave from PazNaz at 2:30 PM on Sunday, July 10, and will return to PazNaz early- to mid-afternon on Tuesday, July 12. The event will cost $75, with scholarship opportunities available, and you can register for the event here. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Pastor Mack at 626.351.2441 or


Summer Camp leaves on Monday, June 27 at 10:00 AM, and will return Friday, July 1 around 4:00 PM. Keep the students and leaders from PazNaz and the Los Angeles District NYI in your prayers!


Sunday, July 10 is Promotion Sunday! On this Sunday, students will officially move from the 2015-2016 schoolyear to the 2016-2017 schoolyear. Be sure to be around in order to celebrate the year that has past and to look forward to an exciting new one!


While a playground by day, the southwest side of the PazNaz campus transforms into an outdoor movie theater at night, with people of all ages coming together to watch a movie projected on the side of the building. The movie will start after sunset; here are the movies scheduled to be shown this summer!

June 17 - Star Wars: The Force Awakens

June 30 - Bedtime Stories

July 21 - Inside Out

August 4 - Zootopia


Student Ministries will be hosting an Upward Basketball Camp on July 5-8 from 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM, and is in need of coaches who are willing to volunteer their time. Coaches should be able to be present for a majority of the camp, and to work well with elementary school-aged students.


Student Ministries will go bowling together on Friday, August 12, from 7:00 - 9:00 PM. The event will cost $20, and will be held at AMF Bowling Square Lanes in Arcadia, CA.


Student Ministries wholeheartedly believes socioeconomic status and financial difficulties should never be an obstacle which prevent a student from attending a trip! If finances are the only thing coming between you and a trip you want to go on, contact Pastor Mackenzie to talk about the possibility of assistance and volunteer opportunities.

Forms and Documents


All students attending a retreat or event must have an active FAMILY RELEASE FORM on record. The forms cover January-December, meaning only one need be filled out each year. Families with multiple students in the ministry must only fill out the form one time, provided the filled form includes each child's name and medical information.
